Four changes as Ealing Trailfinders take on Connacht Eagles
Ealing Trailfinders have named their team to face Connacht Eagles in Sunday’s Round Two British and Irish Cup fixture at the Sports Ground.
The starting line-up features four changes from the side that beat Richmond last weekend as Ben Ward’s team look to make it two wins from two in the opening fortnight of the B&I Cup.
James Gibbons, Matt Cornish and Sam Rodman start in an unchanged front-row, with Harry Casson and Oli Curry continuing in the second-row. Rayn Smid is joined by Dan Temm and Mark Bright who return to the back-row.
Grayson Hart starts at scrum-half with Shane O’Leary making his first start at fly-half as he takes on his former club. The centre pairing of Joe Munro and Lewis Jones will look to give the West Londoners front-foot ball.
Will Harries, James Cordy Redden and Luke Daniels start in an unchanged back-three which functioned impressively last weekend, with all three of them scoring on two occasions.
On the bench Rhys Lawrence, Will Davis and Mark Tampin provide a front-row alternative, with Llewelyn Jones and Morgan Allen covering the rest of the pack. Luke Carter and Lewis Robling complete the match day squad.
Fly-half Shane O’Leary is relishing the trip to face his former club:
"It's another great challenge this weekend that I'm looking forward to. The weather can be very challenging and it's a tough place to go and win but we'll go there looking to make it two wins from two."
