Gill’s skills on offer for everyone at Ealing Trailfinders
Ealing Trailfinders Skills Coach Paddy Gill is set to share his extensive coaching knowledge with the entire Club.
On 29th September Paddy will showcase the skills and explain the drills he has used to prepare the Ealing Trailfinders 1st XV for the 2014-15 season in National 1.
Under Gill’s auspices the first team squad have been honing their skills to be ready to put them into practice under pressure come match day.
“It’s easy to say we want to play an expansive game and just chuck the ball wide without too much thought. The hard part is to ensure the players have the skills to do this, ” Director of Rugby Ben Ward said.
“Paddy has worked hard throughout pre-season to raise the standards of all our players from props to the back three and it is a great opportunity to see how he has gone about this process and the skills the guys work on day in day out.”
The former Ealing Trailfinders and Ireland age-grade international has a deep knowledge and vast experience having previously coached with Leeds Carnegie.
The session is available to everyone at the club, whether it is younger players, coaches or supporters and will start at 19.15 in the main bar.
