Sports Science Work Experience
Ealing Trailfinders are offering two work experience roles within the club's strength and conditioning department.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a full time professional club currently ranked as one of the top 24 clubs in England. This is a rare opportunity to be an integral part of our support team, working with experienced performance staff at our high-class training facilities at the Trailfinders Sports Club, Ealing, West London.
The internship will provide a unique opportunity to gain experience in an applied setting. This will include the use of a heart rate system and global positioning system (GPS). You will be heavily involved in the daily and weekly screening process and will gain important roles and responsibilities as your experience and confidence grows.
You will be responsible for creating reports and providing feedback to the clubs staff members and playing squad. This will include daily player feedback and a more detailed coach’s reports. You will be provided with expert training and mentorship throughout your internship and will be invited to all in-house training.
Current enrolment on an undergraduate degree in Sport Science is essential. You may have a successful record and experience of working with sports teams and a history of volunteering. You must have good knowledge and experience working with Microsoft excel.
The clubs hours of work are strictly between 7am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. However, it is not expected that volunteers explicitly cover these working hours.
If you believe you fit the criteria for this role as well as having the vision and commitment to working within a high performance team then please send you cover letter and CV with “Sport Science Placement” in the subject bar to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Due to the high number of expected applicants we will unfortunately only contact those shortlisted for the role.
