UWL make short work of sponsorship

The University of West London is the latest local business to sign up as a sponsor for our return to the Greene King IPA Championship.

The University, which is based in west London with campuses in Ealing, Brentford and Reading, is sponsoring the club for a third consecutive season, with the University’s logo sitting proudly on the back of the player’s shorts.

“We are proud to continue our sponsorship of Ealing Trailfinders, UWL’s local rugby team”, commented Professor Anthony Woodman, Senior Pro Vice-Chancellor at the University of West London.

“The longevity of our partnership with the club illustrates our commitment to the local community, where our students have the opportunity to deepen their links in Ealing and support the team. We wish Ealing Trailfinders every success in the Greene King IPA Championship.”

UWL will also sponsor two of Ealing Trailfinders players Alex Davies and Sam Stanley and Professor Woodman met the players when he visited Ealing Trailfinders’ Vallis Way home.

“The Club has worked hard to strengthen its ties to local businesses and it is great that UWL are returning for a third season, ” Ealing Trailfinders Director of Coaching Ben Ward said. “By bringing in local bodies, be they academic or business, we can strengthen the ties throughout the London Borough of Ealing and west London that will bring in new support and greater interest in the Club.

“Ealing Trailfinders are delighted to once again have our name associated with a leading modern university in London.”
