Ealing Trailfinders ran in eight tries as they opened their British and Irish Cup campaign with a 51-35 victory over Yorkshire Carnegie.

Chris York opened the scoring in the first minute and there was a further score before half-time from Sam Rodman. 

After the break tries from Phil Chesters and Seb Nagle-Taylor sparked a comeback. Josh Davies crossed twice and Rhys Crane raced away for an interception try as the team ran in 32 unanswered points to turn around a 28-12 deficit. 

Lewis Jones then added a final try on the final whistle to take the score past a half-century.
