||James Hallam joined Ealing Trailfinders ahead of the 2017-18 season from Bedford Blues. The loose-head prop spent three months at Goldington Road having joined them following the collapse of London Welsh. He had joined the Exiles at the start of the 2016-17 season and appeared off the bench in their 19-11 defeat at Vallis Way in November. Hallam signed for Welsh following two seasons with London Scottish. During his time at the Athletic Ground he played 41 times and scored one try. One of those appearances was off the bench in Scottish’s 37-17 win over Ealing Trailfinders early in the 2015-16 season. Hallam made his name at Durham University, who he helped to the BUCS Championship and he joined Newcastle Falcons following graduation. While at Kingston Park he played in the British and Irish Cup final and also spent time on loan with Blaydon.
